This bare-bones double stroller from Delta Children is an excellent option for parents who want an affordable, second-hand travel stroller. It scored a dazzling score in our Strollers and Multiples test for weight and size folded that means it's lightweight, small when collapsed and easy to move into a trunk of a car or closet. It also features a multi-position reclined seat and a cup holder for the parent. It comes with a light Mico 30 infant seat, a car-base that stays in the car and reversible carriage.

The seat can be reclined using one hand and the large shopping basket makes it simple for parents to get their child in and out. Despite this being quite a narrow pushchair it handled the bumps of everyday life well and slid through doors without any fuss.

The front wheels can be locked into forward positions or allow them to swivel which helps when covering rough terrain. We allowed the front wheels to swivel during our walk on a stony path. It was able to handle this well, though it did seem to be a bit more bumpy.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2,

Baby Jogger is best known for its three-wheeled, all-terrain, jogging strollers. But they also produce a wide variety of pushchairs that have four wheels. The City Tour 2 is one of their most sought-after models. It is easy to fold and fits easily in the trunk of a car even with an attached carrycot.

It is a bit heavier than the other strollers we tested but the wheels are rubber composite so it feels well-made and sturdy. It is able to maneuver effortlessly across all types of terrain and it's easy to carry, even when loaded with two children and shopping bags.

Both the seat and carrycot have hoods that can be removed to reveal UV50and sun canopy extensions. They are showerproof and sturdy, unlike some other pram hoods that get bounced back into toddlers faces.

It's not the biggest of storage space, however it does come with a huge basket that's deep enough for an infant's changing bag and plenty of food items. It can also be connected with a Baby Jogger infant car seat to create a traveling system for babies up to 20 pounds (car seat and adapters are sold separately). If you are looking for a stroller that is able to be taken on the road, then the City Tour 2 is an ideal choice.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2.

The Thule Urban Glide 2 is a jogger that's ideal for parents who like to stay active. It's among the lightest running strollers that you can buy for your child and offers amazing safety features, including a 5-point harness as well as a safety wrist strap.
