This model that is wet-dry is fitted with the company's upgraded AIVI 3D 2.0 lidar system, which offers improved mapping and obstacle avoidance. The system is equipped with dual laser LiDAR that is similar to that found in self-driving vehicles. It can scan a space that is up to 32 feet by the 270-degree angle. That translates into more precise mapping, faster response times, as well as better cleaning accuracy.

It also comes with a rotating mopping pad constructed of chenille, which makes it much easier to scrub difficult areas unlike traditional mop. It also has YIKO built-in, a first-of-its-kind natural language processing technology that can respond to a range of voice commands. You can use the ECOVACS app to map your home, set up cleaning schedules, and adjust settings.

The main drawback of the T10 Omni is that it can't switch from mopping to vacuuming in one go. Both modes require that you attach and take off the mop heads according to the need, which is fine for most homes, but not an ideal choice for those with busy lifestyles.

The Deebot T10 Omni is a fantastic robot vacuum that has impressive results in our tests on pet hair. It removed more than 96% debris from our hardwood flooring. This is an excellent performance. It did an excellent job on carpets and tiles cleaning up 99percent of dirt.

This robotic mop and vacuum comes with large docking stations that offers cool water auto-cleaning for its mop pads, and auto-emptying into a 3L bag that is easy to replace, and hot air drying for quick and easy maintenance. Deebot T10 has a wash tray built into its base, similar to other mopping robots. It uses the wash tray to rinse and dry the mop pads while using them. However, it doesn't have a removable tray, which means that dirty water dust, dirt and other grime slowly builds up in the bottom of the tray over time.

This is the first mopping model made by Anker which is well-known for its robot vacuums. It has improved smarts, multiple map support, and LIDAR scanning, in addition to twin-turbine suction technology that automatically adapts to the surface you're cleaning. It's a great mid-range robotic vacuum cleaner, even if it doesn't quite deliver on its promise of being a one-stop shop for floor cleaning.

The X8 Hybrid looks like a traditional robotic vacuum cleaner from the top with its circular shape, sweeping wheels and a raised area for sensors. Turn it upside down, however, and you'll find a motorised floor brush plus one side sweeper brush which pushes dirt from the edges into the main pathway of the robot's'mouth'. It's smaller than the main brushes of the iRobot Roomba S9, which I found makes it easier to get under couches and chairs.

Its mapping system allows you to define no-mop areas as well as specific cleaning zones. The A4s Pro has a convenient auto-cleaning mode that increases suction to tackle the most difficult spills or dirt. It also has a battery-powered ElectroWall to set boundaries for the robot.

This budget-friendly option from a well-known brand is the most affordable robot we've tested yet and offers an outstanding value for cost. Its navigation system is based on a very basic random pathing algorithm, and it lacks the ability to map rooms. This renders it less efficient than the other models on this list. It's still able to get under furniture and into corners. And its mopping mode performed very well in our tests, picking up stray hair and other debris.

5. Shark iQ

Shark's iQ may not be as well-built however, it's better in cleaning pet hair off all surfaces. It is more effective of cleaning carpets with low piles as well as bare floors. It also utilizes intelligent-pathing navigational software to improve mobility. It also allows you to send it to a specific room, and its advanced suite of automation features includes no-go zones and scheduling.
